When did you know?

This seems to be one of the questions I'm getting most about Cole. When did I know that there was something different about him? The answer is that I didn't -- he was my second child, and I knew that he liked princesses and "girl stuff," but I didn't know even what transgendered was. But Cole knows the answer for himself. When he went to the therapist, she asked him how long he has felt like a girl, and he said, "Since I was born." So he knew all along -- I'm the one playing catch up!
